BMW sold 2.7 million vehicles in 2024 (2.5 million were passenger cars). In terms of sales volumes, Europe and Asia are BMW’s largest regions, contributing 40% and 37%, respectively. BMW’s core competence is in the "affordable" luxury channel, with limited exposure to high-end priced vehicles.
