Index Description
The index measures the performance of the 200 largest index-eligible stocks listed on ASX. It is widely considered Australia's preeminent benchmark index. Franking credit versions are also available. The S&P/ASX 200 is recognized as the institutional investable benchmark in Australia. Index constituents are drawn from eligible companies listed on Australian Securities Exchange. The performance is measured by float-adjusted market capitalization.
